AGROEDEN is committed to comply with all its certifications, especially the Rainforest Regulations, and the current Environmental Legislation of Ecuador. We combine production and environmental care, incorporating sustainable practices in all our operations.
AGROEDEN seeks to conserve natural resources for future generations, protecting a remnant of forest over 60 years old. There are 25 acres, home of emblematic species of the area. Furthermore, it takes care of this biodiversity by keeping the water sources protected and the surrounding areas afforested.
AGROEDEN promotes community programs and projects, like the classification and management of solid waste generated in the production process. A program already in progress is the one of delivering plastic material to the Chachi community that makes handicrafts that help sustain their economy.
AGROEDEN believes in the continuous improvement of the national academic community, inviting professors and students of careers related to the agricultural and environmental sector to learn about the processes of the company and propose research projects for the area.
